Suggestions to help you…

Build a Bridge to a Muslim

1.  Love  (Jesus’ great command)

  • Be friendly, say hello, don’t avoid them
  • Open your home…invite to a meal

2.  Serve  (Jesus modeled being the Servant of All)

  • Find ways to come alongside them
  • Listen for clues of something they may need, ie: help with English (practicing), help understand the American culture and ways of doing things

3.  Learn 

  • Listen to them
  • Hear their story
  • Be sure that you don’t know, (about their life, their story, their belief) so learn by listening

4.  Pray

  • For God to bless them and reveal Himself to them
  • For your own heart to truly love them
  • For God to show you how to love them well

  • Study Jesus’ example of how He interacted with:
    • Demon-possessed man in Gerazeen
    • Samaritan Woman
  • Study Jesus’ teachings about the Kingdom of God
